Worklife and I share a unique relationship. As a child I'd sketch offices, factories, police stations and bustling high streets. I'd detail the lives of little people fixing equipment or sitting at lunch chatting in canteens. Curiously enchanted by the mechanics of companies, I was gripped by the bonds that could be created by concentrating efforts towards a common cause. I couldn't wait to kick-start my own journey into work.
My early years in recruitment advertising, as an art director, granted my first peek at the emotional triggers that compel candidates to pursue their careers. I then moved to an employee benefits comms firm, driving their creative function and helping the business to flourish into an award winning forerunner. Laterally I'd go on to consult on employee engagement and produce communications for well-known international brands, high performance fintechs, major pension schemes and governing bodies.
Central to my journey was a recurring fascination in the relationship between people and company; identity and career; love and necessity. This obsession kept me wilfully restless until I crystallised my thinking and formed EMBLAZE™. This expression of employee empowerment intertwines the texture of real lives into an enlivening experience that will ignite with the workplaces of tomorrow.
